Just in time for Red Nose Day, we’re really excited to announce support from the Comic Relief Local Communities Fund for 2017! Comic Relief are a huge national organisation working to alleviate poverty, raising funds and awareness through entertainment. Their support is crucial to small organisations like us, and makes a huge difference to disadvantaged communities across the globe. Check out the difference they’re making here (http://www.comicrelief.com/what-we-do/the-difference-we-have-made)
This fund is administered by the South Yorkshire Community Foundation, who we are lucky enough to be supported by. The foundation has been helping groups like us for thirty years (https://www.sycf.org.uk/give/30_years/), and have awarded over £26 million in grants to help the local community. We’re proud to have their support, and you can find out more about them here (https://www.sycf.org.uk/).

The support will help us to run and develop our programme, helping people who are homeless in Sheffield to improve their employability, skills, and wellbeing.
Don’t forget that we are also getting ready to launch our maker workshops and upcycling classes, for anyone wanting to learn how to transform an old piece of furniture or use reclaimed materials to make something completely unique! Head over to our Events page and sign up for updates and exclusive discounts!
